The Archivist
This archive was prepared by Angel, one of Beto’s siblings.
I have only been a part of this story for nineteen years, but there has always been a part of me that wanted to know more, to truly understand my mother and all she has lived. This is my compilation of all the stories that have mostly lived in the air through her voice. In honor of her sacrifices and efforts to not only make my brother’s life magical, but our entire family’s life magical. This is my attempt to capture her story and connect the web of people and places that have had an impact on our story.
I hope to be as brave and strong as she is.
Meet the Family
Marcela;
The mother of the family. The strongest and most caring.
Humberto;
The father of the family. Would carry Beto through anything.
Humberto “Beto”;
The oldest child. Loves his siblings, no matter how loud they are.
Angel;
The second oldest child. Loves to go to concerts with mom, and watch Mexican game shows with Beto.
Sofia;
The third child of the family. She loves to play board games with Beto.
Victoria;
The second youngest of the family. Enjoys watching WWE with Beto.
Basvi;
The youngest member, the family’s first pet. Has taught everyone a lot, as well as barked a lot.
